Abundance…

April | SIXTEEN

The word of last week was; abundance. So, if you are craving some daily affirmations, follow along and choose abundance.

What do you think about when you hear the word abundance? I think about money. I think overflowing waters surrounding a garden full of flowers and trees full of fresh ripe fruits. Imagine the Garden of Eden bursting of everything you could ever need to survive.

I have to admit this week I don’t know if I got the lesson right because I am still wondering about how it feels to truly have an abundant mindset. Whenever I feel these low vibrations, I look at nature for inspiration and see abundance in the trees, in the sunshine, and in the ocean. I remember that abundance is our birthright and that we can all have what we desire.

Sometimes our thoughts about money can be so rooted in how we think and act that we don’t even realize how limited our beliefs are. From a young age, we are taught that there isn’t enough money for everybody. Society has thought us that we should compete, that there isn’t enough of the good stuff to go around. We are taught to fight, to struggle and to work hard to get what we want. This scarcity mindset can sometimes make us feel separated from each other and envious of people who have what we desire.

One way to break that cycle of negative thinking and thoughts of lack is to be thankful for what you have. Feel gratitude for the things you have in your life and more of it will show up. We can’t hold a positive and negative thought at the same time. It is not possible to feel good and have low vibes simultaneously. Choose to feel gratitude and you will feel the shift.

The truth is we can all have what we desire the most. Having an abundant mindset means knowing that there is enough of everything to go around. If you see someone living the kind of life you wish you for yourself, use that energy to create your own reality. Instead of thinking bad thoughts about the person who has what you want, wish them well and allow yourself to manifest what you desire as well.

My tip for this week is;

  1. Sit in an easy meditation pose.
  2. Place your hands on your heart.
  3. Take three deep breathes, in through your nose and out through your mouth.
  4. Count and recall all the people and things in your life that you are grateful for right now.
  5. Feel the peace wash over you.
  6. Spread good vibes all around you.

Make sure to try the easy mediation any time this week and let me know if you feel the shift in the comment section below. I wish you a blissful week full of magical moments of gratitude.
