    I am thankful for my body…

    It is already February and I thought we would do another monthly series but only this time we focus on gratitude. Every day I will give you a theme and I will list at least three things that I am thankful for surrounding that specific topic. If you want you can follow along or you can add things to my list and create your own gratitude practice. Having a gratitude attitude can help you manifest more of the things that you want to attract into your life. Are you ready to feel thankful?

    GRATITUDE DAY 1 | BODY

    The body is amazing and it carries us through all the adventures of life. Today we give thanks for the body for keeping us alive in this human experience. Have you thanked your body today?

    Forgive…

    January |FOUR

    This weeks theme is to forgive. If you are craving some affirmations, you can follow along with the ones we used in the affirmation series. I choose to forgive.


    Another week has passed by and another month almost over. I had a very calm week where I focused on my mind and getting back on track with my positive thoughts. I have felt connected and it has been nice to feel some clarity about everything going on around me.

    A lot of that guidance came from forgiving myself for everything in the past. I feel a shift almost immediately when I choose to forgive. For me, it feels energetical and it is a very subtle movement that happens on the inside. It is like an AHA-moment and the body just relaxes when it happens. Sometimes it takes a little while longer to feel the transformation but when it happens you will now. It can feel like you are a different person and it is like you change your perspective all of a sudden and see the truth. The shoulders go down, the tongue drops, the forehead relaxes, and the breathing changes to a more calm and deeper form. From there you can start over in a clearer way and with a stronger set of thinking.


    I encourage you to forgive yourself or anybody else in your life and just notice what happens. Give yourself permission to feel again and let yourself off the hook! I promise you will feel better if you do. Leave a comment in the section below if you are ready to forgive yourself.

    Love…

    January |THREE

    The theme of the week is LOVE. If you are craving some affirmations, you can follow along with the ones we used in the affirmation series. I choose to love.


    So, how was your week? I had a lovely week where I got a little bit of everything. I actually reached out to some friends and hung out with them without feeling like an alien. It was nice and I felt a little human again.

    Lately, I have had so much self-doubt and I have been second guessing everything in my life. I feel like I can’t control anything and every time I get close to a goal it just disappears right in front of me. I have been spending a lot of time thinking of the past and while it is good to reflect on your own history it can also feel a bit stressful. I often get stuck thinking about all the wrong choices that I have made and the opportunities I missed out on because I wasn’t strong enough to pursue my dreams at the time. This is not a healthy way to live and I know that dreams change and sometimes things don’t turn out the way we wanted them to. Just because I haven’t reached my goals yet doesn’t mean that I am a failure. I guess I have been looking back all this time and trying to find what I did wrong in the past so that maybe I could fix it now. The truth is I don’t want to be that person I was before I went through all the things I did to become who I am today. There is a reason for everything that happens in life and even though we don’t understand what that reason is, it can still have a purpose somewhere along the way. There will be times in the future where I will doubt myself but instead of looking back I will gaze forward and focus on the now.

    Being a human being can sometimes feel exhausting and I guess that is why we are created with the ability to love. Sometimes it is easier to give love to other people than it is to receive love. I really hope you have somebody in your life that loves you or that you love, whether it is a pet, a friend or a parent. For me, self-love is my number one priority right now and that means I take care of my body, mind, and soul by loving who I have been, who I am, and who I am becoming.

    Trust…

    January |TWO

    The theme of the week is trust. If you want to use some affirmations for this weeks lesson, you can use the ones we had in the affirmation series. I choose to trust.


    This past week I have spent a lot of my time sleeping, I had so much stagnant energy in my body and couldn’t get out of the funk in my head so I decided to listen to my body and give it what it craved the most, rest. I also took a break from social media and Netflix and went on a little detox. At the beginning of the week, it felt a little restless and like I was missing out on something important. When the weekend came it felt so nice not to have anything to check up on or giving my energy to. It felt so good to actually have my brain for myself and focus on my thoughts instead of everybody else’s that I didn’t want to return to my accounts. I strongly suggest you try to turn down your phone for a couple of days to see how you react and if you get something out of it. I know I will try to be more mindful with what I put my focus on and try to detox every now and then.

    If you feel like it is impossible, just trust that it can lead you somewhere new. It is only when we let go of something old, something new can enter. Trust that process and trust life to take you where you need to go. This is a lesson I need to learn again because I often stress about the outcome of things that I try to manipulate the situation. I come up with bad excuses as to why I should interrupt the process and I miss what is right in front of me. I miss out on the important stuff and get stuck in my head trying to figure it all out. I also struggle with trusting people and often don’t open up about what is bothering me. I am lucky to have amazing people in my life who actually cares and wants to listen to me complain, I just never do because I feel like I don’t want to burden them with my issues. Once again, it is because I get stuck in my own thoughts and think too much about the outcome of me opening up or reaching out to someone to just share how I feel.  


    This week I will try to trust myself, others and the universe to bring me what I need by not second-guessing myself or stopping anything. I will let you know next week how it goes and I trust that I will get a new experience from this little exercise. Do you struggle with trusting people or yourself?     Letting go…

    January |ONE

    Every Monday I have decided to spend some time where I reflect on the past week and share some of my thoughts with you guys. Each week has a theme and I will follow along with the words we used for the affirmations series to bring in the lesson. This weeks theme is letting go. You can find the affirmations for letting go here.


    I hope you’ve had a good first week of the fresh new year. I have been feeling a bit tired and a little lost these last couple of days. The holidays were nice but a little too long for an introvert like me. Spending time with other people can be very intense and draining. I don’t know about you but I need alone time to regain energy and return to myself every now and then. Last night I decided that I am ready to feel good again and today I actually had a nice day. I re-learned that feeling good is all about having the right mindset.

    You decide who you want to be and how you want to act in every moment of every day. The rest is not up to you, for the most part. Other people’s actions or reactions are not your responsibilities and once you understand this, you can be free from all the noise out there. There is always going to be somebody who has an opinion about what you do or how you look but the only thing that matters is how you react to the outside world. If you learn how to master your mind you can let go of all that is no longer serving you anymore.

    Letting go is not something we do once and then never again. It is something that takes practices and just like you wash your clothes every now and then, you need to wash your mind from all the old thoughts that you no longer need as well. Let go of all the things that aren’t giving you any joy. Clean your living space, get rid of things in your home that doesn’t make you happy. Let go of old beliefs, thoughts, and even people that bring you down. When you let go of old stuff, new things can come in to your life and give you more energy.


    Make it a habit to take out the mental trash and clean up space inside you so that you can have more of the things you love. Mediation and journaling are two of my favorite ways to remove old parts of myself that I no longer want to hold on to.     Well, it is day thirty-one, the end of the affirmations series and for you guys who are following in real time it is also the end of the year. By now I hope you have made it a habit to return to the practice of training your mind. I invite you to create space today by surrendering it all and letting go of things. Endings are often followed by new beginnings. Let it come and welcome the new year with an open heart. It has been a deep and challenging month for me, I have realized some things about myself that gave me the insight of what I really want here in life. Maybe you felt a shift as well in mind, body or spirit. Today is all about resetting and restarting for the new year with the same you! Are you ready to surrender?
